Jacobsen offers a wide range of accessories as upgrades for most x-ray systems. Adjustable mounting brackets for x-ray tubes and image intensifiers make service and replacement easier, and give greater flexibility for optimizing x-ray geometry. A shutter can be added to any system to increase safety and lengthen tube life, and filters and diaphragms can be added to change the characteristics of the x-ray beam. Also offered is an x-ray image processing package for analog systems for increasing contrast and reducing noise, as well as digital upgrades using either linear diode arrays or a high-resolution all-digital imaging chain.
Jacobsen's MAXIxray™ Series is a complete x-ray generation system. The system includes a controller, high voltage generator, x-ray source, cooling pump and safety interlocks.
Software
Jacobsen offers a full line of software to complement our hardware offerings. From simple part presence detection to identification to fully automatic defect recognition for automation. Also availble are sophisticated image processing programs to help get the best images possible.
Jacobsen also offers material handling solutions that not only complement our systems, but also other processes in the plant. Our wheel singling device separates single wheels from a line on a conveyor, and our impact marker positively identifies defective wheels.
